Transferring to Aultman College
Aultman College is transfer-friendly, in fact, most of our students bring in college credits from previous coursework. If you’ve completed at least one college credit after high school, you’re considered a transfer student and can apply those credits toward any of our majors or degree programs at our Canton, Ohio campus.
How Will My Credits Transfer?
Wondering how your previously earned credits could apply to a degree at Aultman College? We make it easy to find out! Submit your transcripts through our Unofficial Transfer Credit Evaluation, and we’ll provide a preliminary review of your credits.
Tips for submitting your transcripts:
- Include your full name (first and last)
- Preferred phone number and email
- Indicate what program you are interested in
- Combine all transcripts into one file before uploading.

Steps to Transfer
Transferring to Aultman College is straightforward:
- Submit your online application along with all required documents by the deadline for your program and semester.
- Once accepted, we conduct a transfer credit analysis to see which of your credits apply toward your degree. You can accept or appeal your transfer credit evaluation if needed.
Prior Learning Assessment (PLA)
In addition to college credits, Aultman College recognizes college-level learning gained before admission through the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA).
- Students with an unencumbered healthcare license (e.g., Radiography, Paramedic, Certified Medical Assistant) may receive up to 65 credit hours.
- PLA credits can replace individual courses or general electives.
- Submit your license with your application, and once accepted, you’ll be notified of the credit awarded.
