Federal Work Study Program

The Federal Work-Study (FWS) program gives you the opportunity to earn money for college expenses while gaining valuable work experience. Through this federally funded program, students work part-time on campus (or in approved community positions) during the academic year.

Work-study jobs are designed with students in mind. Flexible schedules make it easy to balance work, classes, and study time. You’ll receive a bi-weekly paycheck for the hours you work, which you can use toward books, transportation, or other education-related costs.

To be considered for FWS, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and meet all federal eligibility requirements. Keep in mind that eligibility does not guarantee a position, and awards are based on available funding and job openings.
