Campus Safety
Your safety is our top priority. We are committed to providing a secure learning environment for students, employees, patients, and visitors.
Our campus works closely with the Aultman Health System (AHS) Security Services Department, which operates 24/7. A team of over 50 trained officers patrols all campus buildings and parking areas to keep our community safe.
We also use a mass notification system to keep you informed about emergencies or school closings.

Tip: Program these numbers in your cell phone for easy access. Security phones are also located throughout the campus and connect directly to officers.
Security Services for Students
Aultman Security can assist with:
- 24/7 escorts to and from parking lots
- Vehicle assistance (flat tires, dead batteries, locked keys, etc.)
- Investigation reports
- Vehicle accident reports
Students should report all unusual incidents immediately. Security officers have the authority to detain individuals and request identification on AHF property. If necessary, the Canton Police Department will be contacted.
Emergency Alert System
Aultman College uses a mass notification system to alert students, faculty, and staff about emergencies or school closings. Notifications are sent via:

- Email (from “Aultman College Emergency Notification System”)
Students are responsible for keeping their contact information up to date. Changes can be submitted via the Change of Information Form in the main office.

In accordance with the Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990, campus crime statistics and safety information are available on the annual security reports page.
